This privacy policy describes how HealthSTAR collects and uses the personal information you provide. Service Platform Collection and Use

The use of information collected through our service shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which the Client has engaged HealthSTAR.

We collect the following kinds of personal information from the Clients:

Speaker Profile: Password, Username, Affiliation, Title, Personal Contact Information such as address and phone numbers and we may ask for specialty information like SLN (Subscriber Line Number), NPI (National Provider Identifier Standard), etc.

We also collect the following information from our Clients or our Clients’ end users:

  • Travel info
  • Uploaded Documents o CV o Bio o Picture
  • Expense Submission

We use this information for:

  • Profile management;
  • Activity acceptance/decline (speaker confirmation) and activity management; o e.g., invitations to speakers; travel management
  • Content access (content library);
  • Expense management and payment detail; and
  • Training management.

We collect information for our Clients. If you are a speaker (HealthSTAR’s Client’s end user) of one of our Clients and would no longer like to be contacted by one of our Clients that use our service, please contact the Client that you interact with directly. If you are a Client and would like to update your account, please contact us at : request@healthstarcom.com.

HealthSTAR may transfer personal information to companies that help us provide our service. Transfers to subsequent third parties are covered by the provisions in this policy regarding notice and choice and the service agreements with our Clients.

HealthSTAR has no direct relationship with the individuals whose personal data it processes. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data should direct his query to HealthSTAR’s Client (the data controller). If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

HealthSTAR will retain personal data we process on behalf of our Clients and our Clients’ end users for as long as needed to provide services to our Client. HealthSTAR will retain this personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Revisions

We may update this privacy policy to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you or our Client by email (sent to the email address specified in your account) or by means of a notice on this website prior to the change becoming effective.
